Bat II tryouts finished at Bat Field.
Parent meeting for Bats II will be at Batsfield on Thursday June 2 at 6:oo p.m. At that time we will finalize roster, answer questions, share summer vision, finalize dues, etc. Feel free to contact Coach Smith at bluegrassbats2@gmail.com
The Bluegrass Bats are excited to announce the introduction of Bats II Athletes from Kentucky High schools coming together to develop, promote, and showcase Kentucky Lacrosse. Our values include good sportsmanship, teamwork, fun, and leadership. Bats LAX is dedicated to honoring the game of Lacrosse. We expect parents, players and coaches to conduct themselves as examples to all.
While Bats I is primarily aimed at the recruiting aspect for older players, Bats II is geared toward the development of younger players. Our main goal is to focus on the overall development of the high school player.
Why Bats why now? A second team has been a shared vision of the founders Wayne Herner and Phil Fackler since the club’s inception in 2008. Lacrosse is booming and the skill level will continue to increase with more opportunities to develop the individual player.
